Dr Zamzuri Zakaria is a highly accomplished surgeon with expertise in general, breast, and endocrine surgery. He graduated from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 1997 and has built a distinguished career across Malaysia, serving in renowned hospitals in Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, Kuching, Sibu, and Serian. With over 2 decades of surgical experience, Dr Zamzuri has refined his skills through specialised fellowships in breast surgery at Melbourne, Australia, and thyroid minimally invasive surgery (MIS) in Bangkok, Thailand. A dedicated clinician, he prioritises patient-centred care and excels in minimally invasive surgical techniques. Dr Zamzuri is renowned for his clear and compassionate communication, effectively explaining complex medical information to his patients. Formerly an esteemed honorary lecturer for Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) and Monash University, he is a prominent figure in the medical community and a respected mentor for aspiring surgeons and medical students. His philosophy of care emphasises personalised treatment plans, facilitated by a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
