Billing Assistant
Job Summary
  • Assisting the superior to oversee and manage for the smooth functioning of the Billing Unit.
  • Ensure activities in charging and billing are carried out correctly within the timeframe and accordance to the hospital policies and meeting the overall objective of the organization.
  • Ensure accurate and correct patient’s bill is produced for payment and collection purpose.
  • Ensure accuracy and completed bill generated and on time submission to corporate client, insurance and third party administrator as per hospital and client requirement.
  • Ensure insurance and corporate requirements such Initial and Final Guarantee Letter are obtained and insurance claimed form is completed.
  • To be available to handle and deal appropriately with all patient/next of kin and/or relative on their inquiries and /or disputes regards to charging and billing and attend to patients who are not able to make payment upon discharge and to inform the Assistant Manager/Manager for further action and follow-up.
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum SPM  or Diploma
  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience in a hospitality environment.

Pharmacy Assistant
Job Summary To be able to prepare and dispense medications to patients according to the instructions of the doctor
  • To be able to contact the prescriber when in doubt regarding the prescribed medications.
  • To supply drugs to the wards and units according to the required par levels.
  • To assist for drug inventory management which includes but not limited to the receiving, supply and storage of Psychotropic and Dangerous Drugs.
  • To be able to prepare extemporaneous medications which are in accordance to special need of the patients.
  • To assist in performing quarterly stock checks within the department as well as in the wards.

Job Requirements:

  • Having experience in Chemotherapy Drug Reconstitution (CDR) setup an added advantage.

Pharmacy
Job Summary
  • Assists the Head of Department to enforce policies and procedures within the department and supervises the staff in their day to day job.
  • Responsible in ensuring medication safety from the point of prescription screening until the dispensing of medications to the patients.
  • Monitors movement of drugs and medication supply (including good distribution practice) in and out of the department and ensure that there is enough supply for the patients.
  • Responsible for the management of Dangerous Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (including receiving, supply and storage) in the department and perform periodic inspection at the ward level.
  • Perform medications dispensing and counselling for patients that require additional information regarding the use and indications of medications.
  • Assist the department on activities such as CDR / TPN Services, periodical pharmacy location / equipment inspections for proper / correct storage, inventory control and expiry dates.

Job Summary
  • Promote and maintain a safe, comfortable and therapeutic environment to all patients in the unit.

  • Organise, implement and participate Infection Control Policies and Procedures for all level and categories in the hospital.

Job Summary

  • To follow up via phone, letter and field visit (where necessary) of corporate and insurance accounts for the collection and debt recovery.
