About the Doctor
Dr Vanita Paramajothy is a compassionate and dedicated Consultant Radiologist based in Thomson Hospital Kota Damansara. She has more than 20 years’ experience practicing general medicine and radiology in both public and private settings. Dr Vanita graduated from the University of Andalas in 1999 and gained experience working as a house officer, then medical officer in University Malaya and from the National University of Malaysia in 2005-2009 and later worked in many government hospitals such as Putrajaya, Miri General Hospital Sarawak, Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Klang & Kuala Lumpur General Hospital. She enjoys sharing her knowledge and has been a great mentor to junior doctors in the government and private sector. She joined Thomson Hospital in 2015 as a consultant. Her job scope involves interpreting plain radiography, CT, MRI, mammogram, performing ultrasounds, biopsy / drainage & fluoroscopy procedures / arthrogram.
