About the Doctor

Dr Terence was a graduate from University Malaya medical school and thereafter obtained his specialist accreditation in orthopaedic surgery from the same university. Dr Terence then completed his hand surgery training at Christine M. Kleinert Institute for Hand and Microvascular Surgery in Louisville, Kentucky, USA. This institution is known worldwide for its cutting edge and state of the art approach in hand surgery including performing the first successful hand transplant in 1999. Apart from that, he also completed his fellowship training at the prestigious Hand, Plastic, Burn and Reconstruction Unit in Tubingen, Germany under Prof. Hans-Eberhard Schaller. Dr Terence has also published many scientific papers both internationally and locally in hand and microsurgery, orthopaedic oncology, spine and paediatric orthopaedic. Apart from that, he is also a reviewer for Journal of Clinical Medicine and Research and a certified medical impairment assessor.
