Dr Reena is a consultant geriatrician specialising in the care of older adults with complex health needs. She is experienced in carrying out comprehensive assessments to understand each patient’s overall health and in managing multiple conditions and medications, with a strong focus on personalised, patient-centred care across hospital, rehabilitation, and community settings.

She has a particular interest in dementia and cognitive health, including memory assessment, managing confusion (delirium), and supporting patients and their families through the different stages of the condition.

Dr Reena is also involved in orthogeriatric care, where she helps optimise patients’ health before and after surgery for fractures, supports recovery, and promotes safe rehabilitation. She places strong emphasis on falls prevention and reducing the risk of future fractures, including the assessment and treatment of osteoporosis based on bone density scans.

In addition, she has experience in stroke rehabilitation, helping patients manage complications after a stroke, improve their physical and cognitive abilities, and reduce the risk of recurrence. She works closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop practical, goal-focused rehabilitation plans that support recovery and independence.
