About the Doctor
Dr Ramprasad acquired his medical graduation MBBS, post-graduation in General surgery (M.S.) and further specialisation in Paediatric & Neonatal Surgery; M.Ch (Paed. Surgery) from University of Bombay. After which, he served as a Senior Lecturer at the reputed Wadia Childrens’ Hospital, Bombay, which is a national referral centre for sick children. He acquired most of his Paediatric Surgical training in tertiary centres of excellence both in India and UK. He attained the Fellowships of all three Royal Colleges in the Great Britain. He has served in various hospitals nationwide such as Ipoh General Hospital and UKM Hospital. Apart from performing the entire range of operations for surgical conditions in children, including surgery in newborn babies for various congenital malformations, he is also adept in performing the entire spectrum of paediatric urological problems.
