Dr Fong Teck Siong attained his Master of Orthopaedic Surgery from the University of Malaya. Thereafter he served in both West & East Malaysia, where he was responsible for the management of a wide variety of orthopaedic conditions, acuminating his skills for managing simple to complex trauma cases. His interest in the field of arthroplasty and arthroscopy led to the completion of a clinical fellowship in Germany, as well as a clinical and research fellowship in knee surgery and sports medicine at the prestigious Seoul National University Hospital in South Korea. He has also written articles which has been published in various academic journals such as the Journal of Arthroplasty and Biomed Central. He has also received the Excellence in Service award by the Ministry of Health Malaysia in 2009 and 2020.
