About the Doctor

Datuk Dr Kalaiarasu is a Paediatric Dental Consultant. He qualified with BDS from University Malaya and trained in Children’s Dentistry and Oral Surgery at the Royal London Hospital England. He obtained his Masters in Children’s Dentistry from the University of London and Fellowship in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. After working as specialist at MOH tertiary hospitals, he returned to Queen Mary School of Medicine and Dentistry to continue advanced specialty training with placement at the Barts & London NHS Trust and Broomfield Hospital UK, focusing on dental anomalies, dental trauma, medically-compromised children, paediatric dental-orthodontic interface and multi-disciplinary care of children with cleft lip and palate. Additionally, he qualified with a Membership in Paediatric Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons of England and the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Glasgow, and a CCST (UK). He also became Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Glasgow and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He has over 35 years of specialty experience across tertiary level hospitals. He specialises in the management of severe caries, developmental anomalies, dental and oral surgical procedures, dental injuries, interdisciplinary orthodontic and cleft-lip treatments for children and adolescents.

About the Doctor

Dr Redzuan obtained his MD from the University Science of Malaysia (USM). He then worked in Hospital Sultanah Aminah before starting his Radiology training in National University of Malaysia in 2004. He started his Interventional Radiology (INR) subspecialty training under fellowship programme developed by National University of Malaysia in 2012. He also did wide spectrum of general Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures including hepatobiliary, oncological and peripheral endovascular intervention. His Interventional Neuroradiology (INR) training continued in one of the famous centre in Paris. He then served as a Consultant Interventional Radiology in Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz where he performed various Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures and supervised some of these procedures performed by other interventional trainees and non-interventional colleagues. His passion is Interventional Radiology (IR) techniques which offer minimally invasive treatment options of diseases in every organ system.
