Dr Swarupini Ponnampalam has been in the field of general medicine for more than 15 years. She spent 8 years gaining experience in the United Kingdom where she had also pursued her sub-specialty training in diabetes and endocrinology. Having worked in University College of London Hospital and Cambridge University Hospital, Dr Swarupini has a special interest in pituitary disorders (e.g. prolactinomas, hypopituitarism, growth hormone abnormalities), adrenal disorders (e.g. related to steroid excess/deficiency and Conn’s syndrome), male hypogonadism (testosterone deficiency) and diabetes technology (eg. Insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitoring devices).
